# NodeGrid RPC (coming soon)

NodeGrid RPC is a multi-provider RPC node as a service from Crypto APIs, coming
soon. It replaces Node as a Service. You will get one RPC endpoint (the URL your
code sends requests to) per chain, and one API key covers them all. NodeGrid
RPC routes each call to a healthy node provider and switches automatically if
it fails. You don't configure anything.

Until NodeGrid RPC is live, JSON-RPC access is part of the
[Blockchain API](/products/blockchain-api), on the same API key and credits.

## How does NodeGrid RPC pick a provider?

- **Normal call** — the call goes to a healthy provider.
- **Provider fails** — if a provider stops answering or slows down, NodeGrid RPC
  switches the call to another one. Your app sees one normal response.

Same JSON-RPC methods and responses, so your code does not change.

## How will I call it?

Point ethers, viem, web3.py or solana-web3.js at the NodeGrid RPC URL and add
your API key header. You can also keep your current provider and add NodeGrid
RPC as a fallback endpoint.

## Planned launch chains

Solana, Ethereum, Bitcoin, Polygon, Base, BNB Smart Chain, Hyperliquid,
Arbitrum, Tron, Monad, Sui and Optimism, then XRP Ledger, Sonic, Avalanche,
Linea, TON and more. The final list is confirmed at launch.

## Pricing

NodeGrid RPC is coming soon, and we will announce its pricing before it
launches. Until then, JSON-RPC calls are part of the Blockchain API and use its
