No node to run, no infrastructure to maintain. - 20+ blockchains, one interface - 170+ REST API endpoints - 99.9% uptime ## What blockchain infrastructure includes Instead of stitching together nodes, indexers, a wallet layer and a compliance vendor, get the whole stack from one provider — with the same request and response shape across every chain. ### Blockchain data Blocks, transactions, address balances and history, token transfers and contract data — indexed and query-ready across UTXO, EVM, XRP, Solana and Kaspa. ### Wallet & xPub tracking Watch-only HD-wallet tracking — attach an xPub, yPub or zPub and derive, sync and monitor addresses across EVM, UTXO and XRP, non-custodially. ### Real-time events Webhook subscriptions for incoming and outgoing transactions, confirmations, token transfers and new blocks — so your app reacts the moment something happens on-chain. ### Node access Managed shared and dedicated RPC nodes across 20+ chains — full JSON-RPC access with enterprise uptime, without running the nodes yourself. ### AML compliance Native sanctions, fraud and KYT screening for both addresses and transactions across 20+ chains — compliance built into the same API, not a separate vendor. ### Transactions & fees Prepare and broadcast transactions, get real-time fee recommendations and simulate EVM transactions before sending — the write side of the stack. ## Why one unified infrastructure provider **One integration, every chain.** The same request and response shape works across Bitcoin, Ethereum and other EVM chains, Solana, XRP, TRON, Kaspa, Tezos and UTXO chains. Add a new chain to your product without a new integration — non-EVM chains are first-class, not bolted on. **Managed, not self-hosted.** No nodes to deploy, sync or keep online; no indexers to build; no compliance vendor to wire in separately. You call a REST API and the infrastructure is handled — with a free tier to start and no credit card required. ## Common questions **What is blockchain infrastructure?** The set of services an application needs to read from and write to blockchains without running its own nodes — indexed on-chain data, wallet and address tracking, real-time event webhooks, RPC node access, transaction broadcasting and compliance screening. CryptoAPIs provides all of these as one unified REST API across 20+ blockchains. **Do I need to run my own blockchain node?** No. CryptoAPIs is managed blockchain infrastructure — you call a REST API and get indexed data, wallet tracking, webhooks and transaction broadcasting without deploying, syncing or maintaining nodes. Dedicated and shared node access is also available if you need direct RPC. ## Related - [Crypto API alternatives comparison](https://cryptoapis.io/compare/crypto-api-alternatives) - [Explore the products](https://cryptoapis.io/products) - [Start building free](https://app.cryptoapis.io/auth/register) --- # blockchains/algorand.md # Algorand ## Related [What we support](/what-we-support) · [Node-as-a-Service](/products/node-as-a-service) · [Developer portal](https://developers.cryptoapis.io/) --- # blockchains/aptos.md # Aptos ## Related [What we support](/what-we-support) · [Node-as-a-Service](/products/node-as-a-service) · [Developer portal](https://developers.cryptoapis.io/) --- # blockchains/arbitrum-nova.md # Arbitrum Nova ## What makes Arbitrum One unique? CryptoAPIs and Tatum offer first-party AML — Tatum across 5 chains (address-only), CryptoAPIs across 20+ chains (address and transaction). ## Where CryptoAPIs is different ### Compliance out of the box Native AML sanctions, fraud and KYT screening — for both addresses and transactions — across 20+ chains. There is no separate compliance vendor to stitch in; it is the same API you already use for blockchain data. ### One API, not many products Blockchain data, watch-only xPub wallet tracking, market data, node access and compliance in a single unified REST surface, with the same request/response shape across Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, XRP, TRON, Kaspa and more. ### Non-EVM as a first-class citizen UTXO chains, XRP, Solana, Kaspa and Tezos are supported natively — not bolted on. If your product spans more than the EVM world, one integration covers it. ## Which one should you choose? **Choose QuickNode or Alchemy if** you need maximum RPC throughput for a high-traffic EVM dApp, your stack is EVM-first and you want the deepest Ethereum tooling, or you'll bring your own compliance vendor and just need raw node access. **Choose CryptoAPIs if** you need blockchain data, wallet tracking and AML compliance from one API; you want native sanctions, fraud and KYT screening across 20+ chains rather than an add-on; your product spans EVM and non-EVM chains (UTXO, XRP, Solana, Kaspa) and you want one integration; or you'd rather not run or manage node infrastructure. **Which crypto API has the best built-in AML and compliance screening?** CryptoAPIs offers the widest first-party AML screening of the major providers — sanctions, fraud and KYT across 20+ blockchains, for both addresses and transactions. Tatum offers native screening on 5 chains (address only). QuickNode and Alchemy provide AML through third-party marketplace add-ons and partners rather than first-party. ## Related - [Verify Address — AML & sanctions screening API](https://cryptoapis.io/products/verify-address) - [Start building free](https://app.cryptoapis.io/auth/register) --- # contacts-self-managed-node.md # Request a self-managed node (on-premise) Fill out the request form with the blockchain node(s) you need and we will contact you shortly. The Crypto APIs product suite has multiple use cases. Our infrastructure is designed to best serve any SMEs, enterprises, or crypto enthusiasts who need quick, secure, and reliable access to top blockchain nodes. ## Where has Crypto APIs established its registration? Crypto APIs Inc. is a registered brand in Delaware, United States. ## Which blockchain networks are supported? We currently support over 50 blockchains, including their testnets and mainnets. Detailed information about the supported networks is available on each dedicated service webpage. For some products, such as "Dedicated node as a service", we offer extended support beyond the listed blockchains. ## Do you support testnet networks? Yes, we support testnet networks for multiple blockchains. We also offer a free subscription plan to be used over testnet networks. ## Do you use one node per network? We have a pool of nodes that we use, all hosted with us. If one goes offline, there is always another that will continue processing. ## Do you use your own nodes or shared ones? We don't use shared nodes. The pool of nodes we use is owned by Crypto APIs. ## How can I contact support? You can contact our support team via Live Chat or Support Email. When you contact us, please use the email address associated with your Crypto APIs account, or the email added as a Team member in another Crypto APIs account. ## Do you offer a free plan/trial/demo for Crypto APIs? We do not offer a trial or demo for Crypto APIs products. We do, however, offer a free subscription instead, which can be used over testing networks. ## Can I use more than one Crypto APIs product at once? Yes, you can use as many of our services as you wish. Our blockchain infrastructure provides flexibility and allows you to continue using us even after you reach your subscription plan limits. ## I need more custom settings for my subscription — is it possible? Yes. We have a Custom option for subscription. To set it up, you can discuss it directly with one of our representatives by [contacting our team](/custom-plan). ## What is Pay As You Go? Pay As You Go is our pricing model designed to eliminate any restrictions that could limit our clients from achieving their goals exactly when they need to. It enables customers on any of our paid plans to continue using our services beyond their plan's credit limit. Once you reach your credit limit, you will be notified by email, and Pay As You Go will automatically let you continue using our services without interruption at a slightly higher cost. ## How can I pay for the service? We accept payment methods such as debit and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard) via our payment provider Stripe. We can also offer alternative ways to pay for your subscription plan, such as wire transfers, cryptocurrency, or PayPal. For more information, contact our business development team. ## Are payments for Crypto APIs services recurring? Yes, our service plans are subscription-based, with payments recurring automatically until customers cancel their subscriptions. Upon cancellation, clients are responsible for covering the costs of the current payment term; the subscription is cancelled at the start of the next payment cycle. ## Can I prepay for my subscription for a longer period? Yes, you can. Please contact our team to discuss the duration, payment methods, and terms. ## Do you offer discounts? We may offer discounts based on your subscription. Discounts are available for larger packages and longer-term (yearly) subscriptions. If you believe your subscription qualifies for a discount, please contact our team. ## What happens when I cancel my plan subscription? If you cancel your subscription, you will continue to have access to our services until the end of your current payment cycle, after which your paid services will be discontinued. For example, on a monthly subscription cancelled halfway through the month, you keep access for the remaining two weeks. Note that 30 days after cancellation, all data associated with your account — including your fund balance in Wallet as a Service — will be permanently deleted. ## What is "Throughput"? Throughput is the metric we use to measure the number of credits that can be spent per second. Each subscription plan includes both soft and hard throughput limits. Soft throughput represents the requests per second included in a client's chosen plan; clients can exceed the soft limit if necessary, with slightly higher credit consumption. Once the hard throughput limit is reached, clients have reached the absolute maximum allowed. To increase your hard throughput limit, upgrade your plan or contact us to create a custom plan. ## How many credits does an endpoint cost? You can see the credit cost for each endpoint in our official documentation. Select the endpoint you want and the credit cost is displayed at the end of the page. ## Related - [Pricing](/pricing) - [Custom plan](/custom-plan) - [Contact](/contacts) --- # free-crypto-api.md # Free Crypto API ## Start building with blockchain data — free CryptoAPIs offers a free tier so developers can start building on real blockchain data without running any infrastructure. Get transaction and address data, market prices, HD wallets, and webhooks through a single REST API across Bitcoin, Ethereum, and 20+ other blockchains. No credit card required to start; upgrade to a paid plan as your usage grows. - **Free tier with real blockchain data** — no credit card required - **One API, 20+ blockchains** — Bitcoin, Ethereum, and more - **Scale when ready** — upgrade to paid plans as your usage grows ## What you can build for free The free tier gives access to the same unified REST API used in production. Common starting points: ### Blockchain data Read transaction and address data across UTXO, EVM, and other supported chains — balances, transaction history, block data, and token holdings — without operating your own nodes. ### Market data Get current asset prices, supply and market-cap stats, token contract addresses across protocols, and asset-to-asset exchange rates (CoinMarketCap-sourced). Note: market data covers current prices and rates — it does not include OHLCV/candlesticks or per-exchange order-book data. ### HD wallets Generate and manage hierarchical-deterministic (HD) wallets — derive addresses, sync balances, and track deposits — through the API instead of building wallet infrastructure yourself. ### Webhooks & blockchain events Subscribe to on-chain activity (incoming/outgoing transactions, confirmations, mined blocks, token transfers) and receive webhook notifications, so your app reacts to blockchain events in real time. ## How the free tier works The free plan is metered in monthly credits — every API request consumes credits based on the endpoint. Start free, monitor your usage in the dashboard, and upgrade to a paid plan when you need more credits or higher throughput. See the [Pricing page](https://cryptoapis.io/pricing) for the full per-tier feature matrix and credit quotas, and [Custom plan](https://cryptoapis.io/custom-plan) for bespoke or high-volume needs. ## Get started Create a free account, generate an API key, and make your first call in minutes. [Start free](https://app.cryptoapis.io/auth/register) or explore the [technical documentation](https://developers.cryptoapis.io/) to see every endpoint. --- # guides.md # Developer Guides — Build with CryptoAPIs Practical, step-by-step guides for building crypto payments and blockchain apps on the CryptoAPIs REST API — non-custodial by design, across 20+ blockchains. Point us at a wallet address you already control, get a webhook the moment it's paid, and sweep funds by signing offline. No custody, no node to run. ## Why non-custodial matters for payments Most "crypto payment" tools ask you to trust them with the keys that control your money — funds land in *their* wallet and you request payouts. That's a custodial relationship, with the counterparty risk that comes with it. CryptoAPIs is built the other way around. You hold your own keys; we derive receiving addresses and watch the chain for you, but we only ever see public data. When you move funds, you build the transaction through the API, sign it offline with your own private key, and broadcast it. At no point does a private key touch our servers. > Processing at scale and want a unique address per customer or invoice? Use an HD wallet (xPub) — covered in [How to build a crypto wallet](https://cryptoapis.io/guides/build-a-crypto-wallet). The steps below are identical. ## The flow, end to end 1. **Use the address customers pay into.** Take a wallet address you already control and use it as your deposit address — nothing to create, nothing to hand over. 2. **Get a webhook when the payment lands.** Subscribe to confirmed incoming transactions on your address. Your backend is notified the moment the customer pays — no polling, no keys. `POST /blockchain-events/{blockchain}/{network}/address-coins-transactions-confirmed` 3. **Sweep funds by signing offline.** Build the unsigned transaction through the API, sign it offline in your own environment (e.g. the open-source [@cryptoapis-io/offline-signer](https://www.npmjs.com/package/@cryptoapis-io/offline-signer) — no HTTP call, no API key), then broadcast the signed result. `POST /prepare-transactions/…` → sign offline → `POST /broadcast-transactions/{blockchain}/{network}` Accepting USDT, USDC or other tokens works the same way — watch the address, and use the token `prepare-transactions` endpoints (ERC-20 / TRC-20) to sweep, still signing offline. ## FAQ **Is CryptoAPIs custodial? Does it hold my crypto?** No. You keep your own keys. CryptoAPIs derives receiving addresses from your extended public key and watches the chain, but private keys are used only in your environment. Every outgoing transaction is signed offline by you and only then broadcast. **How do I accept crypto payments without running a node?** Point the API at an address you control, subscribe to a confirmed-transaction webhook on it, and you're notified the moment a customer pays — across 20+ chains, with no node to maintain. **Can I accept stablecoins like USDT and USDC?** Yes. Token payments use the same watch flow; sweeping uses the token prepare-transaction endpoints (ERC-20, TRC-20 and more), still signed offline. **How is this different from a crypto payment gateway?** Typical gateways are custodial — funds settle in the provider's wallet. Here funds land in addresses you control, and you move them by signing offline. It's payment infrastructure, not a custodial middleman. [Start building free](https://app.cryptoapis.io/auth/register) · [Read the API docs](https://developers.cryptoapis.io/) --- # guides/automate-payment-forwarding.md # How to Automate Crypto Payment Forwarding — Non-Custodially Auto-forward incoming deposits to your treasury without handing anyone your keys. Watch the addresses customers pay into, and on every confirmed payment prepare a sweep, sign it offline with your own key, and broadcast it. It's an automation you own — CryptoAPIs never holds a private key. ## Automated, but still your keys "Auto-forwarding" usually means a service takes custody of incoming funds and moves them for you — which means it holds the keys. You can get the same automation without giving that up: CryptoAPIs tells you the instant a deposit confirms and prepares the unsigned sweep, but your service signs it offline with a key that never leaves your infrastructure, then broadcasts it. ## The forwarding loop Triggered by a webhook, on any of 20+ supported chains — and it runs on a loop, so deposits forward themselves. 1. **Watch your deposit addresses.** Subscribe to confirmed incoming transactions on the addresses customers pay into. `POST /blockchain-events/{blockchain}/{network}/address-coins-transactions-confirmed` 2. **Prepare the forwarding transaction.** In your webhook handler, build an unsigned transaction that sends the received amount (minus fee) to your treasury. `POST /prepare-transactions/{evm|utxo}/{blockchain}/{network}/native-coins` 3. **Sign offline and broadcast.** Sign the prepared transaction offline (e.g. [@cryptoapis-io/offline-signer](https://www.npmjs.com/package/@cryptoapis-io/offline-signer)), then broadcast the signed result. `POST /broadcast-transactions/{blockchain}/{network}` To auto-forward tokens (USDT, USDC…), swap the prepare step for the token endpoints (ERC-20 / TRC-20). The watch → sign-offline → broadcast loop is identical. ## FAQ **Does CryptoAPIs hold my keys when forwarding payments?** No. This is a non-custodial pattern you build and run yourself: CryptoAPIs notifies you of deposits and prepares unsigned transactions, but you sign every sweep offline with your own key. **How do I auto-forward incoming crypto to a treasury wallet?** Watch your deposit addresses with a confirmed-transaction webhook, and on each notification prepare a transaction to your treasury, sign it offline, and broadcast it. Running that on every webhook forwards deposits automatically. **Can I automate forwarding for tokens like USDT and USDC?** Yes. Use the token prepare-transaction endpoints (ERC-20, TRC-20 and more) to build the sweep; the rest of the loop is identical. **What do I need to run the automation?** A webhook endpoint, your own signing key held in your environment, and the CryptoAPIs prepare-transactions and broadcast endpoints. No nodes, indexers or custodian required. [Start building free](https://app.cryptoapis.io/auth/register) · [Read the API docs](https://developers.cryptoapis.io/) --- # guides/build-a-crypto-wallet.md # How to Build a Crypto Wallet — Non-Custodial, on One API Ship a wallet where users keep their own keys. Generate an HD wallet, derive addresses from the extended public key, track balances and transactions across 20+ chains, and move funds by signing offline — all without running a node or ever holding a private key on your servers. ## Non-custodial by construction The API only ever receives your *public* key and reads public on-chain data. Signing happens off the wire, with a key we never see. ## Build it in four steps 1. **Generate keys and sync the xPub.** Create the HD wallet in your app (any BIP-32/39/44 library) and take its extended public key (xPub). Sync the xPub once so it's indexed and kept up to date. `POST /hd-wallets/manage/{blockchain}/{network}/{xPub}/sync` 2. **Derive receiving addresses.** Derive a fresh, tracked address per user or deposit — using only the public key. `POST /hd-wallets/{evm|utxo}/{blockchain}/{network}/{xPub}/addresses/derive-and-sync` 3. **Track balances and transactions.** Read the wallet's aggregated balance and list its transactions, and [subscribe to webhooks](https://cryptoapis.io/guides/monitor-addresses-with-webhooks) for incoming payments so the wallet updates in real time. `GET /hd-wallets/{evm|utxo}/{blockchain}/{network}/{xPub}/details` `GET /hd-wallets/{evm|utxo}/{blockchain}/{network}/{xPub}/transactions` 4. **Send funds by signing offline.** Prepare an unsigned transaction from the HD wallet, sign it offline with the user's key (e.g. [@cryptoapis-io/offline-signer](https://www.npmjs.com/package/@cryptoapis-io/offline-signer)), then broadcast. `POST /hd-wallets/{evm|utxo}/{blockchain}/{network}/{xPub}/transactions/prepare` → sign offline → `POST /broadcast-transactions/…` The same HD-wallet flow covers native coins and tokens (ERC-20, TRC-20 and more). > Only need to receive crypto to an address you already control (not a full wallet)? The shorter path is [How to accept crypto payments](https://cryptoapis.io/guides/accept-crypto-payments). ## FAQ **How do I build a crypto wallet with an API?** Generate an HD wallet, sync and derive receiving addresses from its xPub, and use CryptoAPIs to track balances and transactions and to prepare transactions for offline signing — across 20+ blockchains, with no node to run. **Is a wallet built on CryptoAPIs custodial?** No. Keys are held in your app or on the user's device; CryptoAPIs only ever sees the extended public key and public on-chain data. Every send is signed offline. **What is an HD wallet and xPub?** A hierarchical deterministic (HD) wallet derives many addresses from one seed. Its extended public key (xPub/yPub/zPub) can derive receiving addresses without exposing any private key — which is what lets CryptoAPIs track a wallet non-custodially. **Which blockchains are supported?** Bitcoin, Ethereum, BSC, Polygon, XRP, Litecoin, Dogecoin and 20+ others, through the same unified API and HD-wallet model. Subscribe once and your app reacts in real time, with no polling and no node to run. ## Read-only by design Monitoring observes public on-chain activity for the addresses you name. It never touches a private key — a subscription just watches public data and posts a callback. ## Set it up in three steps 1. **Expose an HTTPS callback URL.** Stand up an endpoint that accepts POST callbacks and verify your callback domain once in the dashboard. 2. **Subscribe an address to an event.** Create a subscription for the address and the event you care about — confirmed coin transactions, token transfers, or new blocks. You get a `referenceId` back to manage it later. `POST /blockchain-events/{blockchain}/{network}/address-coins-transactions-confirmed` 3. **Handle the callback.** When the event confirms, CryptoAPIs POSTs the details to your URL — react in your app, update an order, credit a balance. Subscribe to token transfers (`/address-tokens-transactions-confirmed`) or new blocks (`/new-block`) the same way. ## What you can watch Confirmed and unconfirmed coin transactions, token (ERC-20/TRC-20) transfers, internal transactions, per-confirmation updates, mined transactions and new blocks — across 20+ chains. This is the same real-time layer behind the [accept-crypto-payments](https://cryptoapis.io/guides/accept-crypto-payments) and [automated-forwarding](https://cryptoapis.io/guides/automate-payment-forwarding) flows. ## FAQ **How do I monitor a crypto address in real time?** Create a webhook subscription on the address for the event you want, and CryptoAPIs POSTs a callback to your URL the moment it confirms — with no polling and no node to run. **What events can I subscribe to?** Confirmed and unconfirmed coin transactions, token transfers, internal transactions, per-confirmation updates, mined transactions and new blocks, across 20+ chains. **Do I need to run a node to get webhooks?** No. CryptoAPIs watches the chain for you and calls your endpoint when the event happens. You only need an HTTPS callback URL. **Is address monitoring custodial?** No. Monitoring is read-only — it observes public on-chain activity for addresses you specify. No keys are involved. [Start building free](https://app.cryptoapis.io/auth/register) · [Blockchain Events](https://cryptoapis.io/products/blockchain-events) --- # guides/use-cryptoapis-with-ai.md # How to Use CryptoAPIs with AI Agents (MCP) Give an AI agent live blockchain access through the Model Context Protocol. Install the open-source per-product MCP servers in Claude Desktop or Cursor, point at the hosted MCP endpoint, or drop the n8n node into a workflow — and your agent can read balances and transactions, watch addresses and sign locally across 20+ chains. ## What is MCP, and why it matters here The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is the open standard for giving AI assistants tools they can call. CryptoAPIs ships MCP servers that expose blockchain operations as tools — so an agent can answer "what's the balance of this address?" or "prepare and broadcast this payment" by actually calling the chain, not guessing. Under the hood the MCP tools are a thin, open-source client over the same CryptoAPIs REST API — same endpoints, same `x-api-key` auth. The signer runs locally and makes zero network calls, so an agent can build and broadcast a transaction while the private key never leaves the machine. ## Three ways to connect - **Claude Desktop & Cursor** — install the open-source per-product `@cryptoapis-io/mcp-*` servers (MIT, on npm), e.g. `@cryptoapis-io/mcp-address-latest`, `@cryptoapis-io/mcp-signer`, `@cryptoapis-io/mcp-broadcast`. - **Hosted endpoint** — `https://ai.cryptoapis.io/mcp` exposes the full toolset with nothing to install, and `https://ai.cryptoapis.io/mcp/{product}` scopes it to a single product (e.g. `/mcp/blockchain-events`, `/mcp/utils`, `/mcp/market-data`, `/mcp/hd-wallet`). - **n8n community node** — `@cryptoapis-io/n8n-nodes-cryptoapis` brings the same operations into n8n automations, including AI-agent workflows. ## Connect in three steps 1. **Get a CryptoAPIs API key.** The MCP tools authenticate with it and consume your normal API credits. 2. **Add the MCP server to your AI client.** Install the per-product packages locally and register them in your client's MCP config with your API key, or point the client at the hosted endpoint. 3. **Let the agent use blockchain tools.** Your agent can read balances, transactions and blocks, pull market data, create webhook subscriptions, and prepare → sign locally → broadcast transactions across 20+ chains, in natural language. ## FAQ **How do I give an AI agent access to blockchain data?** Connect CryptoAPIs over MCP — install the open-source per-product `@cryptoapis-io/mcp-*` servers in Claude Desktop or Cursor, or use the hosted endpoint at `ai.cryptoapis.io/mcp`. **What is the CryptoAPIs MCP server?** A set of open-source (MIT) MCP servers, published to npm as `@cryptoapis-io/mcp-*`, that expose the REST API as tools an AI agent can call. There's also a hosted HTTP/SSE endpoint at `ai.cryptoapis.io/mcp` that aggregates them. **Can an AI agent sign and send transactions?** Yes, non-custodially. The prepare-transactions tool builds an unsigned transaction, the signer signs it locally with zero network calls, and broadcast submits it. The private key never leaves the machine. **Can I connect just one product instead of all the tools?** Yes — use `ai.cryptoapis.io/mcp/{product}` on the hosted endpoint, or install just the matching per-product package locally. BEP-20 is a technical specification providing a flexible format for developers to create a range of different tokens. Using BNB Smart Chain development, BEP-20 token transfers are fueled with BNB. ## BEP-20 in use BEP-20 follows the ERC-20 of Ethereum but enjoys lower fees. Tokens made to the BEP-20 standard can include utility tokens, stablecoins, security tokens, or “Peggy Coins”, tokens built using the BEP20 standard and pegged to different assets. ## Related - [What we support](/what-we-support) · [Contracts Data](/products/contracts) · [Developer portal](https://developers.cryptoapis.io/) --- # layers/erc20.md # ERC-20 ERC-20 is a token standard that allows developers to create and issue smart contracts on the Ethereum network. Tokens made to the ERC-20 standard can have many functions such as paying for goods and services or used to represent things like loyalty rewards. ## The fungible token standard Ethereum didn't just implement the use of tokens, it’s based on them and ERC-20 is one of the most important Ethereum token standards. The ERC-20 introduces a standard for fungible tokens meaning that 1 token is and will always be equal to all the other tokens of the same kind. ## Related - [What we support](/what-we-support) · [Contracts Data](/products/contracts) · [Developer portal](https://developers.cryptoapis.io/) --- # layers/erc721.md # ERC-721 ERC-721 is a standard for representing the ownership of different unique tokens, also known as “non-fungible tokens”. Each plan includes a monthly credit allowance, and every API call consumes credits — so the plans scale by usage rather than by a fixed request count. Billing is monthly or annual (annual saves roughly 16%). See [/pricing](/pricing) for the authoritative, current plans and the full feature matrix. ## Plan tiers - **Free** — no cost and no credit card required, with a starter monthly credit allowance and lower throughput limits; suitable for evaluation and small projects. - **Starter** — a paid entry tier with a much larger credit allowance, higher throughput, and unlimited Blockchain Events, HD Wallets, and Address History. - **Scale** — the most popular tier, with a larger credit allowance and higher throughput for growing production workloads. - **Pro** — a high-volume tier with the largest standard credit allowance, top throughput, and dedicated support. - **Enterprise** — custom pricing for institutions needing unlimited scale, compliance, and dedicated support. ## How the credit model works A plan's monthly credit allowance is not a simple request count. Credit cost varies by endpoint and by blockchain/network, and there are additional ongoing and one-time charges: - **Per-request cost** — every call consumes credits; the amount depends on the endpoint and chain. - **Monitoring fees** — daily credits to keep a synced address, xPub, or blockchain-event subscription monitored. - **Execution/processing fees** — one-time credits per indexed transaction or per callback sent. Exceeding a plan's soft throughput limits is billed as pay-as-you-go overage. Because per-endpoint costs differ, comparing plans by raw credit count alone is not meaningful — check the per-endpoint credit costs on the [developer portal](https://developers.cryptoapis.io/) for exact figures. MPC is the gold standard for institutions and businesses managing cryptocurrency transactions and digital wallets. ## How MPC works MPC is a keyless system that replaces the private key with individual key shares separately generated by multiple non-trusting parties without sharing any data. This means no single party ever has access or visibility of the entire key. Transactions are signed, approved and broadcast with a single signature and the signers’ key shares never become public information, or even leave their holder’s domain. ## Quantum-safe cryptography Our MPC Wallet features a Threshold Signature Scheme (TSS) which offers absolute protection of assets from external hacks and insider threats. With TSS, a threshold of active signers must be met before a transaction can be authorized. Thanks to the MPC, there is no way to know which signatories signed, so security and privacy are ensured. ## No single point of failure Distributed risk and decentralized security minimize the possibility of theft or misuse. ## Sustainable and scalable The blockchain agnostic nature of MPC is highly adaptable and easy to scale. ## Lower transaction fees The advanced MPC method reduces transaction size, meaning lower gas and fees. ## The most secure key management With MPC-TSS the private key is no longer held by a single point of failure, but we don’t stop there. Our multi-layered security also features a Governance Layer. Create as many custom rules and policies as you want for different situations. Setting up well defined rules ensures that not a single transaction can be executed without the approval of the appointed persons. ## Why MPC beats Multi-sig Unlike Multi-sig, MPC happens off-chain with only one single signature broadcast on-chain. It’s data-light meaning it is cheaper and faster to execute, and much more secure. Multi-Sig solutions possess pre-set features, whereas MPC-based solutions can scale a lot quicker and with greater ease due to their blockchain agnostic nature and adaptability to sudden changes, such as - blockchain forks, larger client pool, and technology advances. ## Related - [/products/wallet-as-a-service](/products/wallet-as-a-service) — the MPC wallet product. - [HD Wallets API reference](https://developers.cryptoapis.io/v-2.2024-12-12-175/RESTapis/hd-wallets) — the endpoint reference in the developer docs. - [Developer portal](https://developers.cryptoapis.io/) — full REST API reference. --- # security.md # Security Your security and privacy are our top priorities.
